It's true we have all had an embarrassing story... or a few beauty trends that we just couldn't pull off. No matter what it was you're not alone in making a few mistakes along the way.  So to make you feel a little more at home and a little less self-conscious, we wanted to share some words of wisdom that might help you on your own tanning journey!  Back in the day sunless-tanning was a bit of a hassle. A lot of the time, it would end up looking far too orange or fake. It was hard to achieve that natural, sun-kissed look that we all desperately wanted. Not to mention we knew nothing about proper application, so blotches and streaks...

  Step 1. Say goodbye to dead skin One of the secrets to an even tan is to get rid of any dry or flaky skin before application. Applying self tan to dry skin could make the finished result look patchy, which is definitely not the look you’re going for. So giving your skin a good scrub is a must! Tanning Tip We recommend exfolating and hair removal te day before tanning, this stops the self tanner from seeping into your pores.
